Sherlock holmes+wii+wow

today watched sherlock holmes (DVD) and i find it a great movie! I think im really a fan of Robert Downey Jr already. The movie was quite humorous, but i guess the plot isnt that fascinating.. the usual sherlock holmes cases i guess.. but im looking forward to the sequel IF there is going to be any.

Looked through what are the new wii games to get.. hmm.... sigh. not much RPG games for me to play on wii cos the graphics really suck.... :( still miss the ps RPG games which i played before, like Grandia, Mana Tree etc. but today i get to know that monster hunter tri is available on Wii! yay, will be able to play that soon.

here comes another qn which i have been asking myself. SHould i play wow again? hmph... im kind of stuck at a phase whereby i had missed out on the raids. especially the ulduar and icecrown ones. but it really help me pass time.. though it kinda waste money too..


Shall end today's post with some tips on dating (*winks). The points below are important in keeping a long-term relationship :)

Never discuss issues with your partner if you haven't resolved this emotionally with your self first. If thinking about an issue makes you feel upset or angry, then do not bring this up with your partner. If you do, there is a chance that the your emotions will get the better of you, you will not be thinking or communicating clearly if this happens. Which can lead to an argument. Discuss things objectively and think with an open mind. If you want him to understand you, you must be willing to understand and listen to him too.

Updates-- after exams

Its been long time since i write on my blog. exams are FINALLY over. my study life (as a full-time student) is OFFICIALLY over. oh my, i am getting old already.. suddenly a lot of complicated feelings... going to work soon, feeling a bit scared... getting old--> a bad thing? maybe... maybe not... at least we are one step closer to our dream :)

so exams are over, i should have more time to blog now. and what shall i do? oh man, feel like there are so many things i wanna do but dunno which to start first.. hmm lets see:

1) Play with my niece
2) Bake some cupcakes
3) Exercise and keep fit
4) Watch HK dramas
5) Watch downloaded movies6) Watch flashforward with dar
7) Go universal studios!
8) Plan Europe trip
9) Rearrange my room furniture
........ Cant think of what else to do....... that's it for now

2 days ago went to watch the iron man 2. Before the movie, me and dar went to eat Swensens! their Arrabbiata penne pasta was really spicy! and then we ate our favourite sundae at Swensens - Choco crunch hotfudge sundae!

The movie was long awaited by me and dar. i love all the cool graphics when tony stark uses his technology to dismantle and analyse the model structure. wish in reality that hologram technology really exists! tooo bad, i guess we have to wait for a few more decades.. and i actually missed the after credits cinematics!! oh man!! stupid me.... should have waited till after credits. but even after i watched on youtube i still dun quite understand haha. i think only those people who read the marvel comics would understand. im sure those people who dun read the comics or dunno abt the marvel storyline, would be like "huh...." after they watched the secret ending haha. yay another sequel to iron man, looking forward to it. really love robert downey jr.

Last week went to vivo and so qiao saw Rachel Liang's meet the fans session. took a video and photos of her. She is really pretty and look like a doll in her new image. And she can sing well too. but i dunno why she has so little fans, plus i heard a guy beside me who told his gf to go because he dunno who is Rachel Liang!!!



today i went to the SG flyer with Yunwei and Sara. we had the student deal of $10. when the flyer capsule was not moving at all, we were so freaked out cos we tot the flyer got technical problem again. Before that and during lunch, we were still saying that it is quite cool to abseil down the flyer in case we get stuck up there. plus now they got foood ration, drinks and urine bag under the seat for emergency cases. We were panicking when we see that the capsule was nto moving when we were midway through our journey to the top. As you can see, our confidence in the flyer is really that little.

After SG flyer, we walked over to the new helix bridge, under the scorching hot sun. then we walked on to the marina bay sands shopping mall. me and sara really wanted to go into the casino to take a look,but need $100 entrance fee!!! we walked a long long way, took many photos. im so tired from all the walking but at the same time, very happy!

CNY + V day 2010

time to update my VERY rusty blog. shall start off the new year with a blog about CNY and v day.

CNY was as usual.. hmm. reunion dinner at my aunt's place.. most of the kids have grown up, each doing their own stuff, my cousins no longer play childish games with us, so we just stick to playing card games ourselves.

1st day of CNY was a real busy day. i had to be the chauffeur to drive my ppl around. first my family, then sj's family haha. this yr's cny i tried a new way to makeup, which is draw bottom eyeliner, a way i learnt from TWF makeup lesson. i think it makes me looker brighter instead of having dull eyes.

after having dinner at sj's aunt place, we set off for our planned v day dinner. i gotta tell eveyone that parking at Chijmes is a really really bad idea.... we got conned totally.... it was $10 per entry!! and we only parked for around 3 hrs!! gosh... and next, we got conned by the restaurant too! we were like forced to order the set menu as indicated by the waiter. so we had to eat the full course of meal (appetiser, main course, dessert). we were so full! yet had to try to finish the food else waste our $$ but i got to say the food is pretty nice, especially the garlic bread, which is like super super long. anw the cafe is called esmirada or sth like that. main course was good, but dessert im a bit disappointed becos the tiramisu lack a taste of liquer. i think my tiramisu taste better than theirs hhaha.

then went esplanade to walk walk, but its a really really bad idea cos we totally forgot it was CNY, so there was CNY celebration at esplanade.. -.- so end up there were a lot of 'lightbulbs' around, plus a lot of banglahs.... -.- sj was really pissed at them for staring at me, so we gotta leave early.. sigh..

i think im really lcky at playing blackjack, cos when im the dealer, i alw win over everyone else's money! lol

recently, my bro just got enlisted into army, he came back botak! plus i dun really get to see him le, cos he gotta pei his gf!! hope he can pull thru the army, im sure he can haha. im just so so glad that sj is no longer in the army. its really a tough time, for both of us during that time. now that i see my bro, and others who are in the army, seeing how their gfs feel sad for not seeing the guys, it just reminds me of the time i had went thru. jia you gals, you must be strong for ur guys to pull thru the army with a positive attitude! we are their pillar of mental support! <3

bdae celebration at Q&M gourmet pub

last last week after exams, went ot watch CATS musical @ esplanade. it was really nice:) lots of dance apart from singing. lots of ballet dance moves too! tix was ex, it cost us $200 in total but i think it was worth the money. my very very first musical at the esplanade. the programme booklet was quite ex lol $20. regret that i din buy the soundtrack.

Exams over!!

Yay my exams finally over!! studied and pia-ed hard for one full month, including projects. finally.. and today was my last paper. accounting paper was.. erm.. i really dunno how i will fare.. but well, 4 modules this semester, and the papers seem fine. well i did quite well for my 202 projects, except for 201.. :( anil is like stingy with his report marks.... B+... hais....sad.. but i really really wish can pull me back up to first class honours??? pls pls.... give me at least an A or A- for my papers??

well end of exams also means end to sleepless nights.. (hopefully).. someone pls help me... i cant fall asleep!! i tried all ways, went jogging, drank honey b4 i sleep.. all cant work for me.. i hav very serious insomnia!! help me......

well.. i dunno how m i gonna spend my holidays b4 my prof attachment starts. hmm go out with my gal frens and of cos shop.. i wanna buy clothes.. gonna dye my hair too, but hais. gonna spend quite a lot on hair yet again, wat to do, my hair so long, dyeing and treatment all cost so much more than short hair. but im so happy cos my hair is growing pretty long:) stay away from heat and hope my hair grows even longer:)

for now, clear up my room, my wardrobe, hmm raid wow?? really dun feel like, but if my guild wants me to i hav no choice. hmm wat else, go out shopping! haha. but im really looking fwd to a chalet. hais, wanna go on a holiday. and not forgeting we hav to start FYP now!! damn sian. but must pia.

as for PA, well,dun dare to think abt it, honestly i hav a bit of my worries when it comes to working cos i seriously hav very bad experience at my previous workplace... hmmm need money too$$$ go for retail therapy to enjoy myself.

tis was taken at a spanish restaurant at vivo when we having dinner with my family. my family was so shy when i tried to take pictures of them!! but the restaurant had very nice decor cos it took after the greece decor design, tho im wondering why they use greece design when it is actually a spanish restaurant. ex menu, but food very nice. even for its westerm food. too bad i missed their flamenco dance perf cos was rushing to fetch my bro:( and i realise spanish music is VERY NICE!!
